An attendee at the library mentioned Granny D’s famous walk across New Hampshire, north to south. Sestak said he chose his different route to maximize encounters with communities in the state, but mentioned in an email that he brought the first legislation to the floor to combat the effects of Citizens United, the decision Granny D was protesting on her own walk.
Sestak is a three-star Navy admiral, a former personal staffer to President Bill Clinton, and a two-term state representative for Pennsylvania’s 7th District. He said there was no other candidate with his depth of understanding and experience in the national security field.
